The wedding of Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Talulah Riley took place in the picturesque village of Anstey in Hertfordshire, England. The couple, who had been dating for three years, celebrated their union surrounded by family and friends.
According to People, the ceremony occurred on June 22nd at St. George’s Church in Anstey. Riley, dressed in a classic white gown, opted for a simple yet elegant style with a monochromatic bouquet for her second marriage at the age of 38. Brodie-Sangster looked dashing in a three-piece suit, accented with a vibrant patterned shirt.
The Sun reported several unique elements of the wedding. One guest revealed that Riley arrived at the church in a horse-drawn carriage, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. Later, another horse, adorned with a mane full of white roses, made a surprise appearance at the reception.
“During the ceremony, a horse with a mane covered in white roses approached. I believe Thomas surprised his bride by using the horse as a bridesmaid. Riley was delighted to see it,” a guest told People.
Guests followed traditional customs at Riley’s wedding, traveling by carriage from the church to the reception venue.
Brodie-Sangster and Riley met while working on the series “Pistol” in 2021. In July 2023, the couple announced their engagement, with the “Queen’s Gambit” actor receiving an outpouring of congratulations after sharing the news on social media.
Riley also announced her engagement on X (formerly Twitter). “I’m thrilled to share that Thomas Brodie-Sangster and I are engaged after two years of dating,” she wrote.
Elon Musk, Riley’s ex-husband, wished her well with a heart emoji after hearing the news of her upcoming nuptials.
According to Page Six, Riley’s engagement announcement came shortly after rumors circulated on social media that she had reunited with Musk. Just a month before announcing her engagement, she attended an event at the National Library of France with Musk and her former mother-in-law. Riley maintains a good relationship with her ex-husband’s family post-divorce.
Talulah Riley has frequently appeared in the news not only for her acting career but also for her high-profile marriage to billionaire Elon Musk. Riley and Musk’s relationship was notable for their two marriages and divorces. The couple first met in 2008 and married in 2010, only to divorce in 2012. They remarried in 2013 but separated again in 2016, finalizing their second divorce after a tumultuous six-year relationship with no children.
