Meghan Markle’s Royal Controversies: Unauthorized Photos and Private Violations

Speculations are swirling around Meghan Markle’s apparent reluctance to reside in a small apartment at Kensington Palace. At the same time, reports suggest that Prince Harry might face difficulties in returning to the UK due to past family dramas.

Royal expert Tom Bower has highlighted various rumors, one of which involves Meghan allegedly being escorted out of the UK under the supervision of MI5 or MI6. She was reportedly caught taking unauthorized photos within Kensington Palace and other royal residences. The incident is said to have occurred in the early morning hours, leading to her escort back to Canada and the destruction of the film.

The controversies didn’t end there. Meghan was supposedly caught again taking pictures of Princess Charlotte asleep inside Kensington Apartments. Prince William reportedly confronted her, and Meghan allegedly claimed she could earn a substantial fee for the photos. This incident reportedly led to Meghan being seen at Heathrow Airport, escorted by Prince Edward and Sophie, back to Canada. It is said that she had sent copies of the photos to an associate for safekeeping. These events took place before her engagement to Prince Harry.

Adding to the turmoil, the release of the Netflix documentary featuring Harry and Meghan drew criticism for including a private photographer in Buckingham Palace without the Queen’s permission. An image from the documentary appears to have been taken inside the palace, showing the couple exiting through the garden entrance. According to protocol, filming or photography within the monarch’s home requires explicit permission. A written complaint was lodged, alleging that the couple had not sought approval to film within the 775-room royal residence.

Insiders suggest that the Sussexes might not have been personally aware of the warning, and the photographer was not asked to leave. Normally, a memo would be sent to the Queen to seek approval amid strict filming and photography protocols inside the palace. The images were believed to have been captured during the couple’s farewell tour of the UK in March 2020. Photographer Chris Allerton followed them during this tour, although the image appearing in the Netflix trailer has not been credited to any specific photographer.

The presence of the photographer in the palace was seen as a significant protocol breach, leading to widespread frustration on social media. Critics condemned the couple for allegedly violating the Queen’s privacy while demanding their own. Comments on social media highlighted the perceived hypocrisy, with many expressing their anger over the incident.

Prior to these events, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly upset Queen Elizabeth II by rejecting a significant gift. The Queen’s generous gesture of gifting Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate was not fully appreciated by the Sussexes. The cottage, located next to the Queen’s entrance to the gardens, was a symbol of her generosity and a place of her personal solitude and privacy.

Eddie Elizabeth Ensign stated that the Queen’s intention was for the couple to respect her gesture. The cottage’s proximity to the Queen’s private space made it a considerable gift, reflecting the Queen’s willingness to share her solitude with the couple. Ensign expressed the collective sentiment of many, who viewed the Queen’s gesture as significant and hoped the couple would respect it.
