Why Harry and Meghan Were Added to the Beckham Couple’s ‘Blacklist’: Meghan Markle’s Consequences After Arrogant Actions Years Ago

The relationship between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and David Beckham has taken a sour turn, detailed in Tom Bower’s latest book, “The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power.” According to the author, tensions escalated when Meghan allegedly instructed Prince Harry to snub David Beckham at the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney. Despite their initial rapport, Beckham found himself sidelined by palace officials, who kept him away from Prince Harry on Meghan’s orders.

“Beckham had got his revenge for the Sydney snub,” Bower writes, noting an incident in November 2022 when Beckham, flying from Qatar to Boston, joined Prince William and Princess Kate at the launch of the Earthshot prize. The move reportedly overshadowed a competing event attended by Harry and Meghan in New York, marking Beckham’s calculated response to the earlier exclusion.

Meghan’s purported actions at the Invictus Games, aiming to avoid media competition from the Beckhams, allegedly sparked confusion and hurt feelings. Bower claims that Beckham was puzzled by the royal snub and the ban on photographs, later revealed to be Meghan’s strategy to limit their media presence.

The book also explores other strained interactions between the couples, including alleged requests from Meghan for free clothes from Victoria Beckham, which were reportedly vetoed by Buckingham Palace. Additionally, tensions reportedly rose before the royal wedding, when Victoria felt snubbed by not receiving an invitation to a pre-wedding dinner attended by celebrities.

These revelations paint a picture of escalating tensions and calculated maneuvers between the Sussexes and the Beckhams, highlighting the complexities of royal relationships and celebrity rivalries.
