Megyn Kelly has criticized Meghan Markle for referring to Prince Harry as “her husband.” On her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly expressed her frustration, saying, “We get it, you bagged the gorilla. Congratulations, you got the big bear, [and] you want us all to know.”

These comments followed Markle’s praise of Harry’s equal parenting efforts on her podcast, Archetypes. Kelly, alongside her guest Christopher Anderson, author of *The King: The Life of Charles III*, also discussed Markle’s claim in her Oprah interview that she never looked up the Royal family before their relationship. Anderson and Kelly were skeptical, noting that Prince Harry was the “eligible bachelor” of Markle’s generation.

Kelly further criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for “ripping on the Royals to whom they owe, literally, all of their fame and most of their fortune.”

These remarks come ahead of the release of Prince Harry’s memoir, *Spare*, on January 10. The book, described by publisher Penguin Random House as “raw, unflinching honesty,” has already stirred controversy within the royal family.
