The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has shown continued support for mental health initiatives alongside Prince William. This marks her first public engagement since revealing her cancer diagnosis earlier in 2024.

Through the Kensington Royal account on X (formerly Twitter), the royal couple co-posted a video highlighting mental health issues faced by young farmers. The video features Sam Stables from “We Are Farming Minds” and “Farmer Will.”

While Kate doesn’t appear in the video, her involvement alongside Prince William emphasizes her ongoing commitment to mental health advocacy, a cause she’s championed for a long time. This project likely began development before her diagnosis.

In a previous video message, Kate requested privacy as she began preventative chemotherapy in March. This announcement followed speculation about her absence after abdominal surgery in January. Though initially thought non-cancerous, further tests revealed the presence of the disease.

Kate has spoken openly about the challenges of discussing her health with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

While King Charles III (also battling cancer) has resumed a busy schedule of royal engagements, Kate’s participation in upcoming events remains limited. She will not attend the wedding of the Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson.

Prince William, however, will attend the ceremony as an usher. The guest list includes British billionaire Hugh Grosvenor (a close friend of both princes and godfather to Prince Archie). Prince Harry, amidst the ongoing royal rift, will not be attending.
