Megyn Kelly Criticizes Meghan Markle for Calling Prince Harry ‘Her Husband’

American media commentator Megyn Kelly has voiced her disapproval of Meghan Markle referring to Prince Harry as ‘her husband.’ On the latest episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly expressed her frustration over Markle’s frequent mention of Harry in this manner.

“We get it, you bagged the gorilla,” Kelly remarked during Tuesday’s episode. “Congratulations, you got the big bear, and you want us all to know.” Her comments were directed at Markle’s latest episode of her podcast Archetypes, where Markle praised Harry’s involvement in parenting their children.

Markle had shared, “Oh, my husband? Oh, he’s great. He gets [Archie] downstairs,” while adding she makes breakfast for the family. “It’s very important to me. I love doing it,” she stated.

Kelly’s episode featured Christopher Anderson, author of The King: The Life of Charles III. Together, they discussed various claims made during Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah, particularly Markle’s statement that she never researched the Royal family before her relationship with Harry. Anderson contended that, like “every other young woman,” Markle knew exactly who the Royals were. Kelly agreed, comparing Prince Harry to John F. Kennedy Jr. as the eligible bachelor of his generation.

Kelly also criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their negative remarks about the Royal family, whom she believes they owe their fame and fortune. “They owe, literally, all of their fame and most of their fortune to the Royals,” Kelly asserted.

These comments come as anticipation builds for the release of Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, set to be published on January 10. The 416-page book, described by publisher Penguin Random House as a work of “raw, unflinching honesty,” has already caused a stir within the royal establishment. The title, referencing the phrase “the heir and the spare,” was not disclosed to relatives beforehand, with sources suggesting it will be seen as both “controversial” and “provocative.”

Prince Harry has previously described the memoir as a “truthful and wholly accurate” account of his life, a prospect that has generated significant concern and curiosity within the royal family and the public alike.
