Dawn Staley has guided her South Carolina Gamecocks to a sensational national championship victory, adding a stylish flair to the achievement.

The Gamecocks concluded their undefeated season in grand fashion by defeating Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in today’s final at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

Viewers of the game might have been drawn to the striking jacket worn by Dawn Staley while coaching from the Gamecocks’ bench. Investigations by Front Office Sports revealed that the jacket is a Louis Vuitton piece, boasting an eye-catching price tag of $5,370.

While five-grand may seem like a lot to spend on a jacket for most people, it’s chump change for Staley, who is currently in the third year of a seven year, $22.4-million deal she signed with the Gamecocks back in 2021. And she’s earned every penny of it so far, especially after leading South Carolina to their third national championship during her tenure — with the other two coming in 2017 and 2022.

Dawn Staley Has Built Quite The Resume

Winning national championships as a college basketball head coach isn’t the only thing Staley has to gloat about. The Philadelphia native is also an American Basketball Hall of Fame player with six WNBA all-star games and four Olympic gold medals (three as a player and one as a coach) to her name.

She also had herself a very impressive college career as a player back in the day, winning two Naismith College Player Of The Year awards during her time as a point guard at Virginia.
