The actress revealed her new icy blue hair color while attending the 2024 annual music festival in California during its first weekend.

Megan Fox Reveals Inspiration Behind Blue Hair (Exclusive)

Megan Fox, aged 37, showcased her latest hair transformation at the Coachella CELSIUS Cosmic Desert event in Indio, California, during the festival’s inaugural weekend. While her spirits weren’t blue, her hair certainly was! Embracing the desert vibes, Megan sported distressed high-waisted denim shorts paired with a white tee, a black jacket, and black thigh-high heeled boots, perfectly complemented by a tan cowgirl hat.

This change in hair hue follows Megan’s experimentation with a rose pink style earlier this year. Explaining the inspiration behind her new blue look, the Till Death actress disclosed to PEOPLE that it involved hair extensions.

“I actually have a blue bob right now,” Megan explained to the outlet. “We added the extensions in to give it more Coachella energy. I think I bleached it, and I destroyed it. So I might as well run through all the colors before I go brown.”

As for her outfit, the Jennifer’s Body star noted that her look was about being her genuine self. “I think it’s important just to be you and not change your whole style just for a festival,” she added.

While at the annual music festival, Megan engaged in a conversation with E! News, addressing the controversy surrounding Love Is Blind’s Chelsea Blackwell, who claimed a resemblance to the Transformers star. Chelsea recently spoke out about the backlash she received for her statement, prompting Megan to come to her defense in the latest interview.

“I saw her picture. Without a doubt, people must have remarked, ‘You bear a resemblance to Megan Fox,'” Megan acknowledged before expressing her hope that Chelsea retains her inner light despite any negativity. Reflecting on her own experiences, Megan shared, “My own sparkle dimmed long ago due to two decades of bullying. I sincerely hope that fate didn’t befall her. My best wishes and blessings go out to her.”

Although Megan doesn’t watch LiB, or much TV for that matter, she pointed out that a “lot of people” texted her about the situation.

“Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch Love is Blind?’ And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about,’” Megan continued. “I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied. I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard.”
