Nicki Minaj had fans thinking she was alluding to a split with her husband Kenneth Petty recently, but a new post from the rapper seems to put those rumors to rest.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (June 12), Minaj shared a cute family moment showing her husband and son boarding a private jet as she continues the overseas leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

The post arrives just days after the Young Money rapper wrote on X: “Yes Single…” which could have been referring to her personal life – or new music.
If she is indeed readying new music, which her newest post would then seem to speak to, it would mark her first release since her Pink Friday 2 album dropped in December.
Nicki Minaj has been involved in a somewhat controversial relationship with Kenneth Petty since 2018, with the couple marrying a year later and welcoming a child together in 2020.
Petty is a convicted sex offender, having been found guilty of the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995. After failing to register as a sex offender in California, where he and Nicki relocated in 2020, he surrendered to U.S. Marshals.
As a result of his failure to register as a sex offender, Petty was sentenced to one year of home confinement plus three years of probation and a $55,000 fine.
Petty and Minaj were later accused of harassment by his rape victim, as well as trying to bribe the woman to change her story.
The “Starships” rapper denied the accusations in a court filing, saying: “During the call, I never asked her to change her story; I never offered her any money in return for a statement, and I did not threaten her with any type of harm if she chose not to provide a statement.
“In fact, I emphatically told her that I did not want her to lie about anything and to tell the truth about what she had just revealed to me only if she was comfortable with doing so.”
