Skip Bayless throws shade at LeBron James for failing to lead the LA Lakers past the victory line in Game 2.

Despite averaging 24.0 PPG in the first two games of the 2023 WCFs, LeBron James has failed to lead the Los Angeles Lakers past the victory line. On Thursday Night, things went from bad to worse as ‘The King’ missed all three of his 3-pointers in the final quarter. Following the tough 108-103 loss, Skip Bayless came out to remind the 4-time NBA Champion how he has ‘no clutch gene.’

The Fox Sports Analyst wrote after Game 2 of WCFs, “LeBron James: No Clutch Gene.”

Skip Bayless trolls LeBron James

This clearly isn’t the first or the last time that Bayless has harped on LeBron’s inability to come up big time in clutch time. It is hard to raise a case to defend James for his instances in Game 2. Regarded as one of the most lethal scorers form the point blank range, James missed a layup when the score was at 103-99 in favor of the home side. After which, the 38-year-old again turned the ball over when the Lakers trailed by 5 points in the last 15 seconds.
