Kelsey Mitchell (16.3) and Caitlin Clark (16.2) essentially share Indiana’s scoring lead, while Clark adds 6.9 assists and 1. 3 steals led the team. Aliyah Boston averaged 12.9 points and 8.3 rebounds, and NaLyssa Smith averaged 11.8 points and 7.1 rebounds. When Fever holds their opponent to 84 points or less, they win. When the opponent reaches 85, Indiana loses.

The team’s lackluster performance overall left some in the basketball world wondering if anyone other than head coach Christie Sides should lead Indiana forward.
However, not just anyone else. Clark’s former coach Lisa Bluder was spotted at the Fever’s home opener on Thursday and fans are wondering if she is considering retiring coach Clark again or not.

“Christie Sides the clock is ticking for Lisa Bluder to take your job. Maybe it’s not Lisa but Sides seems lost,” one fan wrote.

It is unclear whether Bluder would consider coming out of retirement to return to coaching. However, fans are certainly hoping she’s open to the idea as Clark and the Fever continue to struggle at the start of the 2024 WNBA season

I’ll leave it here… pick a good time for Christie and Lisa Bluder,” Helena said.

“Lisa Bluder is watching this Fever offense and is absolutely anxious to tag herself in and coach,” KJ said.
