Kanye West recalled attempting to have a threesome in the past with his then-girlfriend, Amber Rose, and fellow rapper Nicki Minaj during an interview on Big Boy TV on Friday.

The Heartless hitmaker, 46 – who was slammed for walking around to pre-recorded music at Rolling Loud festival – was also joined by Ty Dolla $ign to discuss their collaborative studio album Vultures.

In 2010, Nicki dropped the track, Monster, where she rapped about having a ‘ménage’ with Kanye and Amber Rose – and West had tried to make the song into a reality.

At one point during the interview, Big Boy brought up the Jamaican-American rapper, Safaree – and Kanye remembered approaching him about the threesome as they worked on his 2010 album: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

At the time, West was dating Amber Rose and Safaree was in a relationship with Minaj – which Kanye claimed to have been unaware of.

‘You know what’s so messed up like is like, we didn’t really know they was together,’ Ye explained.

‘So, we down doing Dark Fantasy and he in the studio…I’m like, “Yo, Safaree, you think Nicki would let me and Amber hit? Like what she said?”‘

Ye then added, ‘This her man!’ causing the host to burst out in laughter. Kanye jokingly concluded, ‘Like, you gotta make these raps true!’

DJ Akademiks shared a snippet of the interview to his main Instagram page and wrote in the caption, ‘Ye says he was tryna have a threesome with Nicki and Amber Rose.’

Safaree jumped to the comment section to confirm Kanye’s story and typed, ‘yea that happened,’ along with laughing face emojis.

The Flashing Lights singer dated Amber Rose from 2008 until the pair went their separate ways two years later in 2010.

And Safaree notably had a long-term relationship with Minaj which began in 2000 and ended in 2014.

Both Safaree and Nicki were part of the hip-hop group, Hoodstars, in the early 2000s – and also included rappers Loustar and Seven Up.

The Big Boy interview comes shortly after both Ye and Ty Dolla $ign took to the stage at the LA-based hip hop festival called Rolling Loud earlier this week on Thursday.

However, fans were less than impressed by West’s ‘headlining’ performance at the music event.

While many fans were expecting the rappers to perform live, the pair shocked by taking the stage without mics while songs from their chart-topping Vultures 1 album played.

According to the Los Angeles Times, ‘Kanye roamed around in a black jacket and a face mask as their songs played over the festival’s sound system.’

‘Fans on social media were outraged by the display, with many taking to X to vent their frustration.

‘Sounds like you guys disappointed your fans AGAIN with Kanye and at this point it feels like a literal scam,’ one fan posted to Rolling Loud.

‘Wow horrible “performance” and they didn’t drop the album does this get any better,’ snapped another. ‘If you brought him to do that may as well not bring him at all,’ posted one.

Although Ty and Kanye didn’t sing, the pair hyped up the crowd and danced around to tracks from the album.

Despite the backlash online, videos from the event show an engaged audience who were happily singing along to Vultures.

Kanye has a history of holding live listening parties for his albums, and has been doing it since his Life of Pablo era in 2016.

While also talking to Big Boy on Friday, Kanye and Ty discussed their performance style, dubbed ‘listening experiences.’ Ty said, ‘It’s still better than other people’s shows that have a mic.’

‘What I’ve noticed a while ago is that there could be a band on a festival and they go up there and kill it, and there’s a DJ that just goes out there solo, never grabs a mic, they pay him way more, you know what I mean? You can still do it without grabbing a mic.’

He added, ‘We found a new way. Just from even the way that the lights are to the way that the smoke is coming out, all of that is the show.’

Kanye also chimed in, describing the ‘smoke and the lights’ as the ‘opener’ for their show. ‘It’s just a way to bring people into a different experience.’

Vultures 1 is a collaborative studio album between West and Ty – which was released last month in February – and is the first part of a trilogy of albums.

Earlier this week, Ye’s close friend, Justin LaBoy, stated that both Kanye and wife, Bianca Censori, plan to have a ‘bunch of babies.‘

While talking to TMZ, he teased to the outlet, ‘I think they are going to have a bunch of babies.’

Kanye also chimed in, describing the ‘smoke and the lights’ as the ‘opener’ for their show. ‘It’s just a way to bring people into a different experience’

In regards to the speculation that Bianca is being brainwashed by the rapper or being held against her will, Justin said, ‘I don’t, I can’t speak on my brother’s wife, I love him, I love her. She’s great.’

‘She lives an amazing life. They’re extremely happy. I’ve been around Ye for years now, he’s the happiest she’s been and she’s extremely happy.’

West notably shares four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian: North, 10, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, four.

However, social media users have slammed the claims, with one writing on Facebook, ‘They need help not babies. Neither of them seem to be in a healthy headspace.’
