Snoop Dogg will induct the late Tupac Shakur into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on April 7, TMZ reported this Sunday.
Dr. Dre is also apparently mulling a request to appear at the event, which is slated to occur at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
All three artists had at one point been a part of the iconic label Death Row Records, and both Dre and Snoop have collaborated with Tupac and each other.

Joan Baez, Pearl Jam, Yes, Electric Light Orchestra and Journey will be entering the hall of fame alongside the rapper born Lesane Parish Crooks.
Tupac’s fourth and final studio album All Eyez On Me had included the song 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted, a duet with the man who then went by Snoop Doggy Dogg.
In a flourish of showmanship, Snoop performed that number live onstage at Coachella in 2012 accompanied by a hologram of his murdered collaborator.

All Eyez On Me had also featured Dre on California Love, a song that according to TMZ will be performed at the Barclays Center fête in April.
Suge Knight, formerly Dre’s bodyguard, co-founded Death Row Records in 1991 with Dre, who was newly a solo artist after having left N.W.A.
Tupac and Snoop were both attached to the label by 1995, Snoop having collaborated multiple times with Dre en route to the stardom he now enjoys.

Yet by 1996, Dre departed Death Row over a contract dispute – amid reported friction with the infamously mercurial Suge – and the East Coast-West Coast rivalry left Tupac dead after being shot multiple times in a Las Vegas drive-by.
Suge wound up imprisoned that year over a probation violation, and in 1997 was sentenced to nine years, while also under a federal racketeering investigation.
Though released 2001, he’s been in frequent legal trouble in the interim – currently awaiting trial over a murder charge – and Death Row went bankrupt in 2006.
Snoop had jumped ship from the label in 1998, telling the Long Beach Press-Telegram: ‘I definitely feel my life is in danger if I stay in Death Row Records.’
