Prince Harry turns ‘small distressed child’ after William’s text in Netflix doc, says body language expert
Prince Harry’s seven-word reply to a text from his brother, Prince William, following the Sussexes’ explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey has left viewers heartbroken.
In their Netflix documentary, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex delve into the aftermath of their conversation with the iconic talk show host. One particular moment stands out when Meghan Markle, while speaking to her friend Tyler Perry, reacts to a message Harry received from his brother.
Meghan reveals: “H just got a text… H just got a text from his brother.” Harry’s response, a mere seven words, was: “I wish I knew what to do.” His wife Meghan then advised: “I know. Let’s take a breather. Get some air and then decide.”
The fleeting exchange was quickly brushed aside, the context of the text never disclosed, and the documentary continued.
However, fans of both the Royal Family and the Sussexes were left distraught as the strained relationship between the brothers was laid bare for all to see, reported the Daily Star.
Meghan said ‘wow’ when she read the message
“It’s sad to see two brothers who were so close drift apart,” one Royal enthusiast tweeted. However, some viewers questioned the authenticity of the intimate moment, wondering why a camera crew happened to be present at the exact moment Prince William sent the seemingly heartbreaking text.
“Lucky there was a camera crew around at the exact time Prince William texts Hazza,” one sceptical fan noted. Prince William found himself at the centre of a storm following a series of explosive revelations in a Netflix documentary.
Harry and Meghan’s documentary was nominated for the Best Streaming Nonfiction category by the Hollywood Critics Awards. Despite receiving a mixed bag of reviews, Harry and Meghan’s documentary shattered streaming records.
It became Netflix’s most-watched documentary debut with a staggering 81.6 million hours viewed within the first four days of its release.
A spokesperson for Netflix said:”The bond with Archewell Productions is one we deeply value. Harry and Meghan launched as Netflix’s most spectacular documentary debut to date.”
