Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle’s father, has publicly extended an olive branch to King Charles as both men face significant health challenges. Thomas, who has not spoken to Meghan in six years, shared his desire to speak with the King, who is currently battling cancer.

In an interview, Thomas, 79, revealed he has many “unanswered questions” about his daughter and believes King Charles shares similar sentiments. “I would love to speak to him because I am sure he has as many unanswered questions as I do,” he told the Mail. “Neither of us deserves the treatment we’ve received.”

Thomas, approaching his 80th birthday, defended his actions that led to his estrangement from Meghan, attributing the fallout to paparazzi photos taken before her wedding. He expressed regret and noted, “When you look at what Harry and Meghan have done since, like accusing the Royal Family of racism, it’s far worse than anything I’ve done.”

Despite their estrangement, a source told the Mirror that Meghan is concerned about her father’s health and is seeking a way to contact him privately.

King Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer in February, continues to undergo regular treatment while maintaining his official duties. The palace announced that he will visit the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre to meet patients and staff.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Prince Harry and Meghan’s son, Archie, is eager to visit the UK and reunite with his grandfather. However, Meghan and Harry are hesitant to encourage this interest, aiming to keep Britain from becoming a longed-for fantasy for their children.
