Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark found herself in the midst of another contentious matchup against the Chicago Sky, and you can tell that she badly wanted to win against them for the third time this season.
In that game, Clark found a rare moment when she appeared to be alone and was open for a long three-pointer.
Unfortunately for her, her teammate Kristy Wallace had other ideas as she pulled up for what looked like a 3-pointer.
Caitlin Clark could be seen raising her arms to Wallace to pass her the ball, but Wallace was already in a shooting motion.
That wasn’t the only time Clark was upset with a teammate.
Late in the third quarter, Clark led the offense after getting a steal and dished the ball to teammate Erica Wheeler. Unfortunately, Wheeler stopped once she caught the ball and looked confused about what to do as the defense got set.
After Clark saw how the Fever wasted another opportunity on offense, she was spotted raising her arms in frustration.
Caitlin Clark’s Record-Setting Game Couldn’t Extend The Fever’s Win Streak
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever delivered a performance worthy of a victory, but they choked when it mattered the most.
Clark and the Indiana Fever’s four-game win streak was over after an 88-87 loss to Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.
The loss put a damper on a spectacular game from Clark, who ended with 17 points, a franchise-record 13 assists, and six rebounds, and tied a career-high with four steals, per ESPN.com.
