Despite Caitlin Clark’s absence from the WNBA court, the surge in demand for her jersey was immediate. Shortly after the Indiana Fever secured the former Hawkeye guard as their top selection, her Nike adult unisex No. 22 jersey quickly sold out across all sizes on the Fanatics website.
According to sports business analyst Darren Rovell, Fanatics “wanted to do something special and pre-made a limited amount of jerseys to ship immediately to fans.” Clark’s No. 22 became Fanatics’ highest-selling jersey on any draft night in history.
Her jersey is still available for pre-order on the Fanatics website for $99.99 before fees. The pre-sale jerseys will be completed by Nike and shipped based on its timeline.

Clark, renowned as the NCAA’s highest scorer of all time, is set to join the Fever team, which concluded last season with a record of 13-27, securing 10th place in the league of 12 teams. She will be teamed up with Aliyah Boston, standout from South Carolina and last year’s top draft pick. Boston joins a roster featuring two other prolific scorers: NaLyssa Smith and Kelsey Mitchell.
The Fever will commence their season away from home, facing off against the Connecticut Sun on May 14. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcasted on ESPN2.
