That’s Lucy Olsen, the now-former Villanova point guard who joins the Hawkeyes’ 2024-25 roster. She announced her commitment to Iowa on April 17, a “tremendous transfer-portal get for Iowa.”
She was the third-leading scorer in the nation last season as a junior. ESPN ranks the point guard as the No. 5 overall prospect in the transfer portal.
This comes as Caitlin Clark, the guard who helped lead the Hawkeyes to two back-to-back NCAA Tournament championship games, departs to the WNBA with the Indiana Fever.
