Kate Martin and the Las Vegas Aces are gearing up to face off against one of her best friends: Caitlin Clark.
Martin and Clark were teammates on an Iowa Hawkeyes team that made back-to-back trips to the national title. Now the former is on a team boasting the back-to-back WNBA title winners.
In the days leading up to tonight’s game, Martin’s relationship status appears to have changed. A recent graduate from the University of Iowa, Claire Gransee, may have stolen Martin’s heart.
She posted a photo with Martin on her Instagram story leading to many wondering if the two were dating. “I can’t even be upset if that’s Kate Martin’s girlfriend because she is literally gorgeous stunning beautiful perfect,” a TikTok story read recapping the news.
Martin saw the story and didn’t waste time commenting. “She is gorgeous, stunning & perfect, I can’t lie,” Martin said in response.
Gransee has since gone viral on social media, with fans flocking to her Instagram account.
