Angel Reese had social media gushing over her recent interaction with a young fan.

The Chicago Sky rookie is already one of the most popular players in the WNBA, and she may have won some new fans over with her wholesome response to a kid’s question.

Reese was speaking at a recent media session when a young girl was invited to ask a question. When quizzed on what motivates her, the former LSU star explained where she draws her inspiration from.

“Girls like you… little girls that look up to me. Being able to wake up every day and know that little eyes are watching me,” she said.

Angel Reese Is Having A Historic Rookie Season

Angel Reese is having a remarkable first season in the WNBA on a personal front. The forward made history in Chicago’s 70-62 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday as she became the league’s first player to record 10 consecutive double-doubles.

She cut it rather close, scoring two free throws with 23 seconds left to secure the feat, having already hauled in 16 rebounds.

She passed a former Sky player in Candace Parker, who had nine-straight double-double outings.

Reese also became the first WNBA rookie to record a double-double in seven consecutive games in a win over the Dallas Wings on June 20.
