Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has been making quite the headlines lately as she has been seen with two high-profiled men in the last week.
After being spotted in the same car as Chicago rapper G Herbo, Reese made her way to an NBA Draft party.
Reese has fans buzzing after footage emerged of the Chicago Sky star spending time with NBA Draft pick Terrence Shannon Jr. at an after-party.
Terrence Shannon Jr. finally heard his name called when he became the No.27 pick for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Angel Reese was spotted hugging Shannon during the party in a video posted by WCIA News in Chicago.
The Minnesota Timberwolves did some extra digging into Terrence Shannon Jr. before the draft.
Shannon was arguably the best scoring guard in college basketball during the 2023-2024 season. He averaged 23.0 points per game, which ranked third best in the country, per ESPN.com.
Aside from his excellent play on the court, there was controversy surrounding Shannon Jr, but that all ended after being found not guilty of felony rape and aggravated assault by a Kansas jury earlier this month.
Angel Reese Gets Set For Huge Matchup Against WNBA Champions As She Looks To Extend Rookie Streak
Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky will host the two-time defending champion Las Vegas Aces on Thursday for a primetime matchup.
Reese is making her case as the league’s most promising frontcourt rookie, but she has never faced the defending two-time champion Aces and MVP superstar center A’ja Wilson.
Chicago is looking to extend their two-game win streak, while Reese is hoping to extend her string of consecutive double-doubles.
The LSU rookie is averaging 13.2 points and 11.1 rebounds, while Wilson is currently averaging a league-high 27.8 points and 11.6 rebounds.
